The Powerwall 2 can be a bit expensive, but it’s worth investing in as long as your primary concern is saving money on electricity. It costs roughly £7,450 per unit and an additional £1,480 for the Gateway if you want the Powerwall to be able to use the electricity outside of a power outage.

If you’re serious about getting into solar batteries, then the Gateway is a great choice because it unlocks a lot of the smart features (monitoring capabilities).
